Ok, so now that I am making some money this summer, I really want to go shopping for the apartment. But, time is not being my friend so for right now, it is window shopping online for me. :) I have found some wonderful stuff that I think would be really useful or just look great in the apartment!

So I'm going to be working at this magical place, I have done a ton on research on it within the last couple of years. I know my way around all of the rides and resorts. I know where to start when I am planning for a vacation for my family. I know obscure facts about all of the parks. But, there are still so many things that I need to know! Pop Century: The "Forgotten" Years

So I should be making the reservations soon. lol
Pop Century is one of my favorite hotels not only for the price, but of the controversy surrounding its other half.
Pop Century was originally supposed to be opened at the end of 2001, but then the tragic event of September 11, 2001 and Florida's slow economy prevented this from happening.
But, half of Pop Century did eventually open in 2003. Pop Century Classic years, featuring the decades from the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s are all up and running, but there is a dark cloud just across the hourglass lake: The unfinished half of the Pop Century Legendary Years.

The Legendary Years were supposed to feature the decades of the 1900s, 10s, 20s, 30s, and 40s. Compared to the bright colors and elaborate decorations of the Classic Years. The unfinished part of the Legendary Years look dark and haunting, not necessarily like a typical Disney Resort.

Many people don't like how this resort is not finished and they consider it an eyesore to look at. I personally find it completely fascinating. It's like the black sheep of Disney World. You know it's there, but no one really talks about it.

Or so I thought.

I was looking for a little more information on this matter and so I googled it. Well It took me to a lot of websites talking about River Country or Discovery Island. No one was really talking about Pop. Until I found a thread on the DIS Boards

Wow, many people wondered about this place too! I know the thread is a bit old, but it is a very good read.

So Jess, Caitie, Taylor when we stay at Pop we are definitely going to have to check this place out!

Graduation!

Well, I did it. I have graduated from high school. It is all oficially over. Now it doesnt matter what I got on my finals, or if I forgot to turn something in. It's all  over.

Saturday was such a hectic day. My stomach was in knots and me knees were shaking. I just wanted to hurry up and get it over with. So after about a million pictures, we are ready to head up to the community college audotorium. (Which was recently redone and looked amazing! lol) So, we get there and I see my best friend heading up to the building. So my mom stops her and we take a million more pictures! lol

So we get to the building and it was so hectic! lol But somehow, some way, we all line up and get ready to walk down the aisle and onto the stage.

It felt like we were on that stage for HOURS! It was so hot! lol But then, it was all over and we were tossing out hats up in the air! And then....it rained! lol So everyone was waiting in the covered area for someone to bring their cars around. While we were waiting I got some more pictures with my family. :)

So now, school is officially over!! lol And the countdown begins! :) I am super excited and I think that this summer will pass by very very quickly!

It's Over! It's Over! It's Really Really Over!

Well, today is my last day of school. Thent that's it. Finito. Never again do I have to walk down those hallways, trying to push past the people who feel the need to walk as slow as humanly possible, and then stop right in the middle to talk to their friends. lol I hate that!
Also, this weekend is graduation. So that means that this week is going to be super busy! My mom is throwing a graduation party for me and a lot of family is coming down to celebrate. I'm very excited about this because I haven't seen them in a long time, and since I am moving to Orlando, I probably wont see them for at least a year or so.

Im not as sentimental like my friends. I'm actually looking foward for school to end. I didnt enjoy it so much and I am so excited to move away and start the next chapter in my life. But there are some people who are sad that this year is coming to a close, but you just have to remember that you are moving on to bigger and better things!  lol

So, I am planning on spending my summer working. Blah, but it is for a good cause :) lol

Heros Get Remembered, Legends Never Die

Sooo...I am such a bad blogger! It has just been so crazy here! Graduation is in 16 days! Holy crap! Next week is the last week of school...and then it is exams! And now, teachers are piling on homework like crazy! It just makes me want to cry! lol But, it is also making me so much more excited for Disney! I am super excited, I just wish that these next 110 days will just fly by! I think it will, because I got a job! Yay! I'm doing some housekeeping, which kinda sucks..but thats okay really, becuase I will be making some cash money! Soo....Prom is this weekend. Masquarade theme. It kinda sticks because the Juniors decided to hold it at the same place as last year. So, it better is amazingly awesome! lol
lol I know this blog is kinda short, but now I must go and do a project for English!
